Description

Key Role:
Administer and maintain multiple development and test databases and coordinate with the operations team to support a production database. Monitor the database, maintain user accounts, make changes to database schemas, apply updates and patches, and perform backup and recovery. Work with the development team to maintain physical data models, optimize structure query language (SQL) code, and develop stored procedures. Identify innovative ways to improve efficiencies in database operations through increased automation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-7 years of experience with administering Oracle databases-5 years of experience with developing stored procedures using PL/SQL or Java-3 years of experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning Oracle databases-Experience with developing and documenting backup and recovery and operations procedures-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:-Experience with working in an agile development environment-Experience in working with virtualization technologies, including VMware or Oracle VM-BA or BS degree in CS preferred-Oracle Certified Professional
