Program Manager, Cloud Solutions & Services (Job Number:330585)
Description:
SAIC is seeking a Program Manager with extensive experience in Integrated Cloud Solutions and Services. Primary market is the Federal Civil government. Candidates with experience in Cloud Brokerage and IT managed services is preferred. Must be a strong leader with high initiative who can develop productive relationships with the customer, end-users, and other stake-holders, as well as within the SAIC organization to deliver and encourage adoption of cloud services within the customer communities. Demonstrated knowledge of teaming, building Customer and internal business cases, and short/mid/long term opportunity management is essential.
Experience working in a teaming environment with complex technical accounts including calling on key decision makers and all other technical and business influencers required. The ability to communicate the enterprise benefits of these solutions with peers, partners and customers is a must for success in the position. Candidates must have the ability to clearly position complex "end to end" integrated cloud solutions and articulate strategies to senior customer executives.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, oversee and control all activities as part of assigned projects/programs;
Accountable for project scope, timeline and budget;
Manage stakeholder expectations; maintain relationships with stakeholders;
Define projects and analyze impacts;
Prepare the project and work plans;
Report program performance at program reviews;
Be in charge of risk assessment;
Monitor progress and prepare status reports;
Monitor efforts and the performance budget;
Manage deliverables and ensure that they comply with contractual requirements, including established standards and guidelines;
Maintain a good relationship with the client and ensure that the client's needs are met;
Control all changes to the project definition and scope;
Manage an effective communication plan for all project stakeholders;
Be accountable for the quality of projects;
Perform project closeout activities;
Evaluate potential subcontractor and/or vendor team members;
Participate in the development of proposals and service agreements.
Qualifications:
A minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent. (degree in engineering, computer science or related field preferred)
10+ years of successful Program Management experience.
3+ years of successful Program Management experience in IT managed service, Enterprise IT, and/or Cloud services.
5+ years of successful experience in Program Management for Federal government contracts.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience managing large scale, complex programs greater than $40 million per year.
- PMP® or other professional project/program management certifications
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates must be able to submit to and complete the appropriate background investigation and security screening via the Standard Form (SF) 85P, Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions.
Portions of SAIC to be renamed Leidos, Inc., subject to stockholder approval and consummation of a separation transaction if approved by SAIC board of directors. SAIC is pursuing a plan to separate into two independently traded companies: one that provides technical, engineering and enterprise information technology services primarily to the U.S. government (the new SAIC), and one that delivers technical solutions in national security, engineering and health (Leidos, Inc).
