Responsibilities:
- Leverage open source projects where possible; design and implement systems and tools to support test automation
- Provide technical leadership in test automation and performance testing by promoting, reviewing and ensuring efficient design and programming techniques throughout the testing team.
- Add value to the test engineer workflow by implementing Test Framework enhancements that encapsulates technical complexity and enables test engineers to focus on Scripting business requirements.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate automated functional testing early in the application life cycle.
- Identify infrastructure requirements for the Test Framework components and coordinate with Systems Administrators and Vendors to implement infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with application architects on test design and lead test engineers in implementing performance tests.
- Participate in a planned program of professional development to remain current with industry and technology developments
You have:
- Bachelor†s Degree in Computer Science or related
- 3+ years of coding experience in Python, Java or Javascript
- Experience building and testing Front End and Back End web software
- Web Application Performance Testing experience
- Selenium 2/Webdriver experience
- Used virtualization and/or cloud to scale test execution in parallel
- Experience with JMeter or Load Runner (other test tools are a plus)
- Open source test frameworks
- Win32/Com/Windows automation API†s
- Airline subject matter expertise as it relates to fares, pricing, accounting and/or revenue management
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to think critically and express yourself verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with MS Office including SharePoint and Visio
