Linux Systems Administrator With Growing Area Startup Linux Systems Administrator - Linux Administrator - Linux Server Administration We are the areas fastest growing cloud services startup. Although on the market for only a few years, we are a proven leader in government services. We are currently looking to add to our dedicated team a Sr. Linux Systems Administrator.
This person will support various internal and client infrastructures comprised of SAN, server and Workstation elements running a variety of operating systems. This person must be a team player with strong analytical skills; a great work ethic; and a drive to succeed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Provide technical leadership and support to the Linux infrastructure.
-Maintain, deploy and monitor Linux based servers.
-Design, implement and maintain the server infrastructure.
-Provide regular status updates on projects, including progress updates and identification of technical risks and issues associated with them.
-Assist with daily Administrative tasks were needed.
-Ensure the compatibility with existing systems.
-Update server security as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience:
-Intimate experience with Global Load Balancing.
-Knowledge of Auto Scaling.
-Bachelor†s degree in technical or mathematical field of study preferred but not required.
-Experience with Cloud based services is desirable.
-Experience building and supporting VMware systems.
-At least 5 years of experience is preferable.
-Experience with Scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
-Experience with data center automation tools such as Puppet is a plus.
