The Business Systems Analyst will document business process and construct process models for the identification of improvement opportunities or procedural and control deficiencies. In addition, the Business Systems Analyst specifies, designs, documents, tests and delivers business systems and process solutions that enable the business to achieve their strategic goals faster and with sustained success.

Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Defines business systems or process requirements by using appropriate tools and partnering with systems or process owners to understand requirements.
  • Documents processes by using standard methods, formats, and tools to create project or process documentation.
  • Assures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, test plans and quality plans; and by working with quality assurance analysts to improve quality processes.
  • Resolves issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.
  • Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Influences middle management on technical or business solutions. May interact with vendors.
  • Plans and organizes non-routine tasks with approval. Initiates or maintains work schedule. Establishes priorities of work assignments.
  • Works under only general direction. Independently determines business objectives of assignments and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed to determine if desired results and objectives have been achieved.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Has a sound knowledge of various technical alternatives and their impact.
SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree Finance, Economics, SC/Operations Management, or Computer/Business Information Systems
  • 1 - 4 years of formal business system analysis experience in Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the project lifecycle, including detailed requirements gathering, writing design specifications and test plan development and traceability.
  • Demonstrated clear and concise written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to model business requirements
  • 2+ years SQL query language -Preferred
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) - Certification Preferred
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team,
