Project Manager - Cognos Exp. Desired

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifies resources needed to resolve code errors, infrastructure deficiencies or application defects.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews corrections prepared by team before passing to client.
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, stored and disseminated according to remediation.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Project management on Infrastructure related projects.

SKILLS:

DESIRED:
Exposure to projects working with Cognos BI 10.1.1 or 10.2 and TM1 9.5.2 or 10.1.1. Both versions are actively used. High level understanding of each technology stack, whether Cognos BI or TM1. Preference being TM1. High level knowledge of Cognos 10 TM1 Insight and Performance Modeler for building Applications Cubes, Dimensions, Replications, Processes and Models. Have worked with teams on full development life cycle to deploy applications through each environment. Knowledge base on interfaces with Cognos. Such as Autosys, MKS, and Patrol Monitoring software. High level understanding of new features of Cognos TM1. Able to conduct discussions related to connectivity to SQL Server, Oracle and Teradata.
