Two of the business' P&L's are using Oracle E-business suite as full cycle ERP System. For continuous improvements, expert support, projects and future consolidation and rollouts we are looking for a talented and engaged IT Project Manager who serves as the direct line supervisor of business solutions project in the Service and Sales space. Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of one or more projects concurrently from initiation through closure
  • Develop, sell and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams
  • Own all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk
  • Identify critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
  • Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
  • Influence project teams to maximize the utilization of Out of Box functionality (implement profitable and reliable tools at low costs)
  • Facilitate strategy reviews and projects across the Distributed Power divisions
  • Act as central point of contact for any Service or Sales topic to the designated management team Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years industry related experience
  • Minimum 4 years IT experience of which two years should be in project management Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.   • GE Leadership Training Program Experience (IMLP, OMLP, FMP)
  • Either prior experience with PLM, Oracle ERP or CRM/Services systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Experience leading projects with remote stakeholders and users
  • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
  • Experience with process quality methodology
  • Project management experience in global environments
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global Matrix organization
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
  • Green Belt certified (GE employees only)
  • Lean experience (GE employees only)
  • PMP/ITIL certified (GE employees only)
