The Computed Tomography (CT) Software Team is looking for a highly motivated software engineer interested in developing state of the art CT software. The Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to the development of systems software within the P&L. The Software Engineer delivers high-impact global software projects within the P&L. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and testing of CT host software, in collaboration with the system team and other sub-system teams. Essential Responsibilities: Work closely with systems teams for requirements analysis and software design.
-Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms.
-Create best in class software solutions utilizing the latest software technologies.
- Design and build strong testing infrastructure to promote software quality.
- Leverage Design For Reliability (DFR) for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle.
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

-4 years experience developing software for complex systems or computerized products.
-Software development cycle or automated testing experience.
-Experience in Object Oriented design methodology and various programming languages, including C/C++ and Java.
-Working knowledge in configuration management tools.
