The Architect serves as the technical expert responsible for design and implementation of business solutions. The Architect works closely with United States and Canada (USCAN) commercial and service organizations to identify solutions that will meet business needs, with a focus on fast, agile delivery. This role will execute on projects and solutions to deliver a final solution to the business. Essential Responsibilities:
- Designs platforms that integrate corporate, central, and distributed offerings to maximize utility and minimize cost

- Evaluates and recommends new or enhanced technologies and products that could improve current services

- Develops technical standards and provides resolution of complex system problems

- Ensures that plans for system technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure

- Advises management on technology purchases and on future projects or environment upgrades/modifications

- Identifies areas to simplify work, reduce technological complexity, automate and streamline Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience with process quality methodology

- Experience in architecting global, large-scale applications, which span multiple countries and business units

- Experience in three or core technologies (database, network, compute, desktop, telecom, ERP, CRM, workflows, data/BI)

- Experience integrating business technologies

- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

- Drive to lean new technology and build in-depth expertise

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver

- BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
