This role is a support role for Ultrasound IT team. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical phone support to Ultrasound customers and field engineers to minimize customer downtime, while improving customer satisfaction
- Work with Service Engineering, Product Engineering and field support specialists to improve product quality and resolve formal customer escalations.
- Provide feedback to Engineering to address ongoing quality initiatives.
- Manage and support improvements in business processes and solution offerings that maximize competitiveness, enabling continued business growth.
- Contribute to our online knowledge archive, the "Problem Solution Database", to increase the technical solutions available to field engineers and fellow online engineers.
- In addition, provide valuable input to new product development using your experience in resolving technical issues. This includes improvements in service readiness, service diagnostic tools, feature enhancements and product quality. Qualifications/Requirements: This role is open to internal GE and external candidates.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience servicing electronic equipment, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with a minimum of five years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of eight years experience servicing electronic equipment
- At least 2 years Imagevault &/or Networking technical experience
- Demonstrated history of technical problem solving
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively work with customers & cross functional GE team in a high pressure environment Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. - IT industry experience in a Hospital environment, knowledge of Dicon, HL
