Senior .NET Developer

Yoh has an immediate six (6) month contract opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle
- Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.
- Responsibilities include systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.
- Communication - Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modelling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
- Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
- Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
- Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time to market imperatives
- Maintain records to document program development and revisions
- Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production.
- Participate in coding and other development activities for delivering complex projects.

Job Qualifications:

- At least Five (5) years of experience in Application development (.NET 4.0, C#, SQL)
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery
- WCF/ASMX/REST services experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly analytical and logical to analyze complex business requirements and come up with a solid technical solution.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- MSCD certification (.NET, SQL).
- Previous Financial Services industry experience.
- Two (2) years of experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Solid design and programming skills.
- Experience with WCSF.
