Senior IT Buyer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Senior IT Buyer to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

Job Responsibilities:

- Preparing, negotiating, managing and coordinating agreements supporting the procurement of various materials or services.
- Evaluates and selects suppliers in terms of quality, service, cost and capability (total cost of ownership).
- May assist in the development of procurement strategies in conjunction with the businesses or commodity teams for a region or specific area of spend.
- Ensures competitive pricing service versus industry trends and market place dynamics. Resolves quality, service, supply and invoicing issues with suppliers.
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement in the buy and in the contractual relationship with suppliers.
- Oversees contract implementation and supplier performance/interaction; involved with resolving day to day operational issues.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree Institute for Supply Management accreditation desired (Certified Procurement Manager or other "CPM").
- A minimum three to five (3-5) plus years of experience in IT buying, negotiating large IT contracts, and writing contracts
- Demonstrated capability in strategic supplier management of large programs and or procurement categories.
- Work experience in large corporation (preferably Fortune 500 Company).
