Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Java/Web presentation tier developer with significant Spring MVC experience and comfort/experience working with HTML and JavaScript. Unit testing experience with frameworks like EasyMock and Mockito is a must. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills are a must as our client follows the Agile/Scrum methodology which is highly dependent upon communication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, mentors junior developers, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production.
- Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions. Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
- Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system. Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
- Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Seven (7) Years of experience in Application development
- Three (3) year of experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects
- Five (5) years of experience in Application Development using Java, JEE
- Two (2) plus years of experience Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow, JUnit, EasyMock/Mockito
- Strong analytic capability
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
