Solution Architect - Network Security

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Solution Architect - Network Security to join our global manufacturing company in Wilmington, DE.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide network security design and consulting for a broad range of IT projects
- Participate in the creation and delivery of security solutions
- Provide security requirements and design for connecting to 3rd party solutions
- Execute design reviews
- Be accountable to COE lead, portfolio manager, and enterprise architecture
- Evaluate and make recommendations on network management/security tools and processes
- Assess posture proxies, Internet gateways, VPN's, remote access, wireless network access
- Create technical documentation, architecture, designs, and project deliverables
- Make risk based decisions and recommendations for information security issues
- Provide security designs and architecture deliverables to address a changing risk landscape
- Create and communicate standard solutions which ensure secure network design and operation that have practical application at during project implementation
- Provide analysis and solutions using next generation Firewall technology
- Develop and maintain network security standards and guidelines according to best practices, a changing threat landscape, and following regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, TCOM, Network, Midrange, and Desktop groups and resources to provide secure solutions
- Develop IT infrastructure solutions with an in-depth knowledge of the current threat landscape including Advanced Persistent Threats, Distributed Denial of Service attacks, and Hactivism
- Develop security solutions within an IT Services model.

Job Qualifications:

- Five (5) plus years of experience in relevant technology areas
- Understand network access control
- Strong communication skills
- Appropriate certifications or demonstrated specific experience
- Knowledge of marketplace and key vendors; current on technology
- Ability to work across extended diverse global team
- A collaborative approach to design and solutions
- Capable of developing security requirements for vendors, 3rd parties, and alliance partners
- Able to evaluate and analyze white papers and detailed technical specifications
- Demonstrate an understanding of current security trends and best practices
- Possess technical expertise across network technologies (Ethernet, IPv4/6, STP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Experience with large scale multinational Fortune 500 company is preferred
