Summary:
Responsible for the overall user experience of core web properties. Manage the user experience throughout the development cycle, including business needs analysis, user-centered design and development, usability testing and measuring success, ensuring that all user experiences adhere to Brand tone and personality as defined within the Web Style Guide. It is imperative that the candidate bring the user experience to the forefront of the of the development cycle and manage the life cycle of user experience, not just through delivery, but also through measurement and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Work as a primary analysis and design resource, supporting the user experience for a business vertical
- Collaborate with teams to define customer needs and web page flows for project and enhancement efforts
- Construct working prototypes, page designs, graphics, and mockups to support development
- Participate in usability testing, and take responsibility for user acceptance of website elements during the development cycle
- Define analytics requirements to help monitor the customer user experience and use the metrics to drive suggestions for improvement
- Investigate and propose uses of new web technologies to enhance the user experience
- Participate in the establishment and documentation of standards for the user experience, like the Website Style Guide
- Support bank-wide adoption of user experience services, standards, and techniques
- Help to build and maintain close, positive working relationships with all stakeholder groups and internal customers
- Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and technical systems
- Maintain knowledge of evolving UX design principles and best practices

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. in visual/interactive design, computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of relevant experience in web design and/or information architecture; experience with consumer websites and/or applications
- 2 years of experience with one or more graphics tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, etc.)
- 2 years of experience with one or more wireframe/prototyping tools (Axure, iRise, etc.)
- 1 year of experience with analysis and application of web analytics
- 1 year of experience effectively translating between business and technical language

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of user experience testing and analysis
- Knowledge of Front End development (XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, etc.)
- Experience with agile methodologies a plus
- Ability to conceptualize and think creatively
- Ability to be persuasive and to negotiate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment; both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance/prioritize multiple concurrent efforts
