Summary

The function of a Customer Service Supervisor is to manage a team of representatives focusing on Retail and OEM customer service. They are the departmental experts who have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the customer service department and customer accounts. This position will have direct responsibility for Customer Service Rep I and II's.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

§ Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries on complaints, pricing, ship dates, product availability, RGA's, credits and shortage claims.

§ To have extensive product knowledge in order to respond to customers' technical inquiries and to help troubleshoot questions concerning installation and malfunctioning products.

§ Special projects as assigned by Management.

§ Train CSR's on extensive product knowledge.

§ Train CSR's to understand specific needs of the Retail/OEM Business segments.

§ Ability to satisfy a very irate customer/consumer.

§ Will have direct supervision over CSR's and will conduct employee reviews.

§ Create and maintain departmental SOP's.

§ Lead department in accomplishing goals and supporting company strategic plan.

§ Will be the back up to the Customer Service Manager.

§ Budget accountability.
