SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:

In accordance with sound and acceptable engineering principles, Test Engineer develops Functional Test equipment hardware, software and methods for use in the testing of manufactured products. Develops automation solutions using in house automation framework and other commercially available solutions. Receives assignments from department manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Development and maintenance of automated tests using RA Test Automation Framework
  • Execution of manual tests, both GUI and non-Gui

Leadership

  • Works independently, with little supervision

Interpersonal

  • Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and ability to work within a cross-functional team environment to achieve position objectives
  • Projects involve interaction between departments including Design Engineering, Operations, and Quality

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or computer science

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with functional test automation systems and automating manual functional tests
  • Experience with the use of C++/C#/.NET in a Windows environment
  • GUI testing experience
  • Strong Scripting language design and coding skills
  • Familiarity with industrial automation products a plus
  • Client Server Application experience a plus
