Release Engineer - Consumer Electronics - Leader in Technology Build Engineer Located in Calabasas, CA, we are a global leader in audio with our technology integrated into virtually EVERY brand of consumer electronics on the market today. Our Engineering team is world-class and always pushing the limits.
We are currently looking for a talented Build/Release Engineer to join our team. If you have experience within either the gaming or consumer electronics industries, please read on!
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Build/Release Engineer, including strong experience with continuous integration, test and deploy systems
- Basic understanding of C, C++ and/or Java
- Experience with version control such as Mercurial, Subversion, CVS
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio, Eclipse, Apple XCode or other IDE
- Experience with both Linux and Windows OS
- Experience in an agile environment
- Bachelor's Degree required
Pluses:
- Previous experience with Anthill Pro, Electric Commander or Build Forge
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira
- Scripting language ability is a plus
- Experience with web services such as RESTful, SOAP
- Experience with iOS, Android and/or Windows Phone
- Experience with virtualization using VMware or comparable solution
- Familiarity deploying to EC2/S3 or similar cloud infrastructure
What You'll Be Doing:
- Configure and maintain AntHill Pro Continuous Integration build system
- Conduct exploratory work with cloud computing initiatives
- Train and mentor engineers to use the build environment
- Help implement a new build, test, and deployment infrastructure for global product development
- Design and bootstrap a cutting-edge scalable development platform
