The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for our technology organization in our Corporate Office in Worcester, MA.

Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for managing the collection, development, analysis, documentation and communication of The Hanover Insurance Group's Commercial Lines insurance needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will successfully perform this function by having a working understanding of information systems, business operations, and processes to effectively analyze customer requirements, develop functional specifications, business process workflows, detailed specs, and test plans.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Participate on projects focused on technical and business processes across the Commercial Lines business.

- Understands the relationship between business need, functional requirements, data and integrated technology solutions.

- Applies project management and technical best practices in all technology solutions.

- May provide technical coaching and mentoring to less experience team members.

- Innovative in solving problems and identifying, proposing and executing solutions.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will successfully perform this function by having a working understanding of information systems, business operations, and processes to effectively analyze customer requirements, develop functional specifications, business process workflows, detailed specs, and test plans.

Position Requirements:

- Strong partnership building, negotiating and troubleshooting skills required.

- Proven ability to interface successfully with multiple customers and all levels within the organization.

- In depth understanding of business analysis techniques, with strong analytical thinking ability.

- MS Office Suite, Group Wise, Business Process Modeling tools, Requisite Pro

- Bachelors Degree Required, 3 - 5 Years of Experience
