Headquartered in Marlborough area, we are an industry leader in the storage space. We are in search of a Customer Escalation Engineer who is ready to play a major role in our core technical team.

What you need for this position:
-Extensive experience Scripting in PERL and/or Python, Bash.
-Must have demonstrated strong system level troubleshooting skills.
-Must have strong understanding on network technologies and protocols such as NFS, CIFS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN, SAN
-In-depth knowledge of Linux Operating system, file systems, system utilities
-Must have excellent communication skills
What you'll be doing:
-Performing triage and resolution on complex customer escalations.
-Communicating problem diagnosis, root cause analysis and possible remedial actions with engineering.
-Reproducing problems witnessed in the field.
-Leading project initiatives including support tools and utilities development.
-Developing complex scripts to facilitate problem resolution or augment triage analysis.
-Gathering and analyzing system performance data to determine operational effectiveness.
-Providing remote technical product support to customers using our product solutions.
-Providing technical direction, training and guidance to the our Customer Support group.
