Business Analyst - Healthcare (Contract/Permanent)

Location: Melbourne Country: Australia

Your Role

Our GM, Health Management, is seeking a Business Analyst to undertake research, analysis and evaluation to develop insights that will inform the development of the business and hospital/medical contracting strategies. You will be responsible for analysing processes, recommending areas for improvement, documentation and implementation for the broader Health Management team and providing general support.

In addition, there is also an opportunity to provide the Policy team with product specific analysis and quality assurance activities.

We're looking for a combination of skills and experience including:
  • Extensive experience in researching, reviewing and analysing business processes, policies with a track record of successful implementation of your recommendations.
  • Private Health Insurance industry preferred; experience within a hospital/medical environment also welcome.
  • The ability to identify, engage and influence stakeholders; working closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills - processes and policies.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
