Data Quality Engineer - Elastics (Contract)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland Country: Switzerland
 

For our client, a well-known company in financial services based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineer with deep knowledge in Elastic Stacks. This position is an 6-months contracting position. The team is responsible for designing, deploying and operating a large-scale log platforms on-premise and in the cloud. Their stack processes billions of events per day in a near Real Time manner, protecting our infrastructure and driving our operational & security monitoring and response processes. They operate a diverse range of technologies from log collection to aggregation and analysis powered by both 3rdparty and internally developed technologies.

What you will do:
Data Source Onboarding Data Parsing and Transformation Data Quality Assurance User Support Content support

Create and maintain documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures

Requirements:
Proven Experience in data management with Elastic Stack
Proficiency in Linux operating systems (eg, CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
Proficiency in data modelling and processing large data sets, SQL, KQL, SPL
Relevant certifications or technology work experience (eg, CompTIA Linux+, Red Hat, Elastic, Splunk, etc ) is a plus.
Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and system administration best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
Excellent verbal & writing skills with English is a must
