Business Change Manager - Hybrid/Bradford - Inside IR35, £550 - £600 per day - 6 months + extension (Contract)

Location: Bradford + WFH Country: UK Rate: £550 - £600 per day
 

Business Change Manager - Business Change/Ways of Working/People/Target Operating Model/TOM - Hybrid but with travel to Bradford office 2 - 3 days a week - Inside IR35, £550 - £600 per day - 6 months + extension

Purpose of the role

The role will be accountable for delivering a wide variety of business change to ensure our people, policies, processes, work flow and technology requirements deliver against customer expectations and strategic objectives.

To deliver business change initiatives of varying degrees of size and complexity, focused on identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the customer and colleague experience, support performance commitments, and drive efficiency through customer focused operational effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities

Some of the key responsibilities you will have will include but are not limited to:

  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to complete detailed business impact assessments, and the development of business change plans, acting as a bridge between programme management, business operations and IT.
  • Lead impact assessment, change planning and business readiness activity for programme/project deliveries into your assigned business areas.
  • Lead small change/improvement projects to improve ways of working for customers, colleagues and the business.
  • Maintain an excellent working relationships and knowledge of the areas of focus assigned to you.
  • Manage stakeholders and communications at all levels
  • Work with IT to implement system changes/new systems to support required changes

Knowledge and Skills Required

Essential:

  • Proven experience of managing transformational Business Change within large complex organisations. Experienced in changing the culture, business processes, and ways of working for Call Centre and Field Service individuals.
  • Experience of delivering and embedding business change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours
  • Trade Union engagement experience.
  • Qualified in change management practices such as AIM, APGM, ARIS, CMI, etc
  • Strong leadership skills able to lead both direct and Matrix teams across the business
  • Good commercial acumen, able to develop and manage complex business cases
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels across the business, including senior leaders and directors
  • Ability to absorb technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Be able to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships internally
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within the Utilities industry
