We are building a new company and seeking an IT Service Management and Change Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery and continual enhancement of our IT services.


Responsibilities:

  1. Service Excellence: Lead the establishment, management, and monitoring of service level agreements (SLAs), implementing best practices to optimize IT service delivery.
  2. Risk Management: Ensure a robust controls and risk management environment within IT, collaborating closely with the "2nd Line" to maintain adherence to policies and procedures.
  3. Change Oversight: Oversee IT change activities, safeguarding the provision of service to our organization.
  4. Team Leadership: Manage a small team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive alignment and service excellence.
Role Requirements:
  1. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in operating systems, networking, databases, virtualisation, and cloud computing.
  2. ITSM Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, and monitoring tools for efficient ITSM processes.
  3. Process Optimisation: Experience in analysing and improving ITSM processes for enhanced efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
  4. Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to address customer needs and manage expectations effectively.
  5. Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies for successful ITSM initiatives.
  6. Change Management: Expertise in planning, implementing, and controlling changes to IT services while minimising disruption and risk.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  8. Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to ITSM, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
