Software Developer - Stoke on Trent

Salary: 35,000 - 60,000 (dependent on experience)

Please note: The role is Full time office based (Monday - Friday) in Newcastle-under-Lyme (Stafforshire) for the first 3 months. Following this it will revert to hybrid working (3 days office/2 days remote)

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Technical Director you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a range of software platforms, both existing and new.

Main duties:

Development of Windows and web-based software packages for internal use

Development of web-based components for use by customers and suppliers to integrate with internal systems

Support of end users

Day to day support, development and management of Software Developer

Any other tasks deemed necessary to support business needs and/or cover for colleagues

Key Skills:

Software development using full Microsoft stack - C, .NET Core, WebAPI, WPF, ASP.NET, MVC, MS SQL Server, JavaScript

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Solution oriented with good problem-solving skills

Diligent, reliable and organised with an impeccable eye for detail to work consistently to high standards

Ideally degree or equivalent software development with minimum 4 years? relevant experience
