Business Intelligence-Cube Developer

Hybrid working-2/3 days in office

Up to £65,000 annual salary

Are you an experienced BI Developer with experience building Cubes with DAX or MDX? if so this is the role for you! This is an amazing opportunity to work in a FTSE100 company who are present in 30 countries across the globe, but also a company who values an inclusive environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You will deliver and develop cloud based and enterprise subject oriented cubes including; financial metrics, marketing, CRM, compliance, product performance.
• You will carry out coding: DAX, MDX and SQL.
• Carry out best practice SDLC.
• Develop and optimize MS SSAS cubes (tabular and dimensional)
• Develop and improve solutions spanning data processing activities from the data lake (stage) to star schemas and reporting view's/tables and finally into SSAS.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• You have professional exprrience building cubes/working with Power BI.
• Have experience with cloud based Cube technologies ie Kyvos and Power BI.
• You should have domain understanding, Ideally in finance, marketing, CRM, compliance.
• You should have a strong understanding of data.
• Have experience working with large volumes of data (millions or records per day).
• Can build tabular (or OLAP) cubes properly (with DAX or MDX).
• Advanced SQL knowledge and ability to write performance optimized queries.
• You should have industry standard Datamodelling skills (ie Kimball)
