A Bristol-based, tech for good company are looking for a keen Data Analyst to join their team. The Data Analyst will be looking at product data for a high performing team within the business. A commercial and analytical mindset is the key to success for this role. The Data Analyst must be able to work with both the product teams, and the commercial stakeholders.

The Data Analyst will help with the effective utilisation of a new data lake and insight capability. Working as part of a multi-discipline team you'll be liaising with IT and non-technical stakeholders. The Data Analyst must have experience with SQL and data visualisation tools, my client uses Oracle Analytics, but you can have experience with a similar technology.

The Data Analyst must have

  • Strong SQL and/or Python skills
  • Data visualisation (Oracle Data Visualiser, Power BI or Tableau)
  • Experience analysing data within products
  • Knowledge of snowflake
  • Experience with data lakes and raw data

The Data Analyst will be responsible for

  • Understanding data streams and MI insights
  • Working with business teams, product, data and software development
  • To understand and articulate business requirements
  • Provide effective communication between teams, being the bridge between IT and business
  • Provide technical insights and expertise

The Data Analyst will need to be passionate about data and make it come to life for stakeholders you'll have experience in data analysis, you'll need to provide examples of where your insights have had a positive effect for a business.
