Senior Data Analyst

Contract is outside ir35, Hybrid (North West England)

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst with pharma sector experience who will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Must have been a Data person involved in DATA Preparation for submissions to FDA or MHRA

Responsibilities: -

• Work with business & IT partners to understand the business and data
• requirements.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and perform data
• profiling.
• Interpret data, analyse results and provide quick data analysis.
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
• Build bus matrices, proof of concepts, source mapping document and raw
• source data model using Excel, Power BI or other Visualisation Tools
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Must be proficient with Jira in order to create own backlog

Required skills:

• Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, databases (Redshift, Oracle
• etc.) and programming languages (Python, R). Ability to write SQL queries.
• to perform data profiling, data analysis and present the insights to the
• business.
• Exposure to Datawarehousing and Datamodelling concepts.
• Must have worked with SNOWFLAKE, know Starburst (Data Visualization tool)
• Strong Exposure to IT Project Lifecycle.
• Finance/Life Science Domain experience.

Desired skills:

• ETL load knowledge eg skeleton records generation etc
• BI Tool knowledge is an added advantage, particularly Power BI or MicroStrategy
