21 Vianet SharePoint Developer (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £550 - £580 per day + Deemed Inside IR35 determination

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months+

Rate: £550-580 a day (deemed Inside IR35)

Location: Hybrid (Must be able to work 3 days on site in Canary Wharf)

Immediate contract for an experienced SharePoint Developer for office 365 activities for a global banking project, spanning 2 very unique tenants (commercial and 21 Vianet in China). The work will involve engagement with relevant engineers, specialists and teams across the technology departments. The China Onsite Domain program is a multiyear project and will be delivering O365 collaboration services.

The SharePoint Online Developer will be responsible for engineering, testing, tooling and the creation of a support model for collaboration.

You must have 21 Vianet SharePoint and Azure Commercial experience along with excellent communications skills to work collaboratively within a global team.

Primary Skill:

  • Deep technical Skills within SharePoint
  • Experience of collaboration with Azure commercial and 21 Vianet tenants (China)
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience delivering Office 365 solutions
  • A degree in computer sciences or another related area
  • Working knowledge of/familiarity with ITIL. Certification to ITIL Foundation level is a minimum
  • Working knowledge of/familiarity with Project Management principles. Certification to Prince 2 Foundation level or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Previous industry experience with multinational companies beneficial of significant scale

Desired Skills:

  • Appreciation and experience of security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required to move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector
  • Experience working with regulatory, compliance and/or litigation group within the Financial Industry
  • Large Scale Migration Tooling/Automation/Process experience
  • Power Platform experience
  • Experience of logging and monitoring with respect to SharePoint
  • Purview Information Barriers experience
  • Security products like Symantec and/or Proofpoint
  • High degree of technical knowledge of relevant architectures
  • Sound business acumen
  • Excellent communications skills
