Bright Purples global client is looking for an addition contract Desktop Support Technician to join their Edinburgh based helpdesk team. This role would suit a skilled Desktop Support Technician, 1st line/first line, or hardware support technician with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining internal IT systems.
The ideal candidate should have:
Experience with a range of operating systems and software applications (O355, Email, Windows 10/11 etc). Knowledge of network and server technologies Replace, Deploy, Image and Troubleshoot Laptop/PC Hardware. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Troubleshoot assigned tickets to determine if issue can be resolved or determine appropriate group for escalation. Maintain positive relations through effective customer follow-up. Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting.
This is initially a 6-month position with possibilities for extension, offering a day rate of £230/day inside IR35 Get in touch today for more information and immediate consideration!
