Robert Half Technology is assisting a global market leading telecommunications organisation to recruit a Data Lead - £575 - £775 per day - Hybrid working (London/Reading)

Experienced Interim Data Lead to drive the execution of our data strategy within the telecommunications industry. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing the management, analysis, and utilisation of data assets to support business objectives. Previous experience with Oracle Fusion is essential for this position.

Role:

Data Strategy Execution

• The Data Lead will lead the implementation and refinement of the organisation's data strategy, aligning it with the unique needs and challenges of the business
• Develop and execute plans to enhance data governance, quality, security, and accessibility, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritise data initiatives that drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Data Management and Integration:

• Oversee the integration of data from various sources, including network infrastructure, customer interactions, and market insights, into the organisation's systems and databases.
• Implement robust data management processes to maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data throughout its life cycle.
• Optimise data architecture and infrastructure to support the scalability and performance requirements of the telecommunications environment

Analytics and Insights:

• Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions to derive actionable insights from telecom data, including network performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.
• Collaborate with business units to identify and address key business challenges through data-driven decision-making and predictive analytics.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators and metrics to track the effectiveness of data initiatives and identify opportunities for optimisation.

Technical Expertise:

• Leverage expertise in Oracle Fusion to harness the full potential of the platform for data management, analytic, and reporting.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT and data teams on the design, implementation, and optimisation of data solutions and infrastructure.

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in data capabilities.
• Lead a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in data-related initiatives.
• Engage with senior leadership to provide regular updates on data strategy execution, insights, and business impact.
