IT Sourcing Associate/Consultant- Flexible Location. (Contract)
Location: Home based with travel as required (client paid)  Country: UK Rate: Circa £750 per day outside IR35
 

Senior IT Sourcing Consultant/Senior IT Procurement Consultant sought by an IT advisory and technology consulting organisation to work on exciting sourcing strategy, supplier management and IT procurement related projects for a range of commercial and public sector organisations. Candidates will demonstrate a passion for delivering value for clients, coupled with the ability to lead client facing engagements in IT sourcing and mentor others.

Candidates will also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following -

  • Experience of leading sourcing/RFx processes and contract negotiations.
  • Strong experience in IT sourcing, IT procurement or IT vendor/supplier management.
  • Experience of running and owning outsource arrangements.
  • Familiarity with legislation impacting sourcing.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as ITIL, Agile and OJEU.
  • Experience of leading major commercial/sourcing projects, ideally with values in excess of £20m.
  • Experience of supplier reviews, supplier consolidation strategies and contract value assurance.
  • Experience of working either client side, supplier side or with a consulting organisation.

The role can be home based with travel covered by the client and will be outside IR35
