Are you a skilled BI Developer with expertise in Informatica PowerCentre, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehouse design and build? We are seeking a talented individual who possesses strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to complex and non-routine tasks. Experience in Business Objects and basic Java development would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
As a BI Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing solutions in alignment with the Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality gates, controls, and milestones.
• Providing evidence to support relevant IT General Controls (ITGCs).
• Collaborating with the wider project team, including Project Managers, Release Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Enterprise Architects, to effectively deliver technical solutions.
• Owning, authoring, and presenting technical designs to relevant stakeholders for review and approval.
• Overseeing and leading component (Unit) and Integration test plans.
• Offering ongoing input to process improvement initiatives.
• Mentoring junior developers to facilitate technical progression and uphold standards within the team.
• Ensuring adherence to Change Management, Software Configuration Management, and other defined processes and controls.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience developing Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong experience working with Oracle databases in a development environment.
• Proficiency with SQL Developer, SQL*Loader, and TOAD tools in a development environment.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in solution estimating.
• Exposure to full life cycle implementation of data warehouses.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience working in the Financial sector.
• Familiarity with developing Business Objects solutions.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to integrate various data sources like XML files.
• Experience implementing complex business rules using re-usable transformations, mapplets, and mappings.
• Proficiency in solution optimization using performance tuning methods (SQL tuning, ETL tuning).
• Knowledge of performance tuning for sources, targets, mappings, and sessions.
• Experience utilizing Informatica command line utilities to execute or control sessions, tasks, workflows, and deployment groups in non-Windows environments.
