Tech Lead, Azure, C#, 18 mths, London, competitive market rates (Contract)

Agile Development Lead/Tech Lead/Software Development Lead- Hands on Technical role with some coding experience

(C#.Net TDD/OOD, Azure)

Starting ASAP for 18-24 month role-London Hybrid role -2 days onsite

Competitive markett rate/Inside IR35

Start date-Mid May

Duration- 18-24 months project

Hybrid setup: 2 days per week in London based office.

Responsibilities.
Whilst the Agile Development Lead will not be expected to be hands on coding, you may need to be hands on and technically sufficient at a technical level and be able to discuss good code and bad code

Main Focus:

1-Recruitment and evaluation of new development teams being brought in and to carry out technical evaluations

2-Look at the day to day coding practices of new and existing teams.Ensure that clients coding practices are understood and followed.

Carry out regular reviews with the teams looking at their skills and expertise and work with the line manager or the Supplier to address any gaps.

Act as a technical decision maker if there is a deadlock between teams and once a new team is Embedded and certain that coding practices are correct.

Technical Expertise:

Expertise in C# .Net, C# .NET Core 

Experience in TDD, Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques

Expertise in Azure technologies (including but not limited to):

API Manager, Active Directory, Functions, Service Bus, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage, AppInsights, Azure DevOps.

Git Repositories including Branching, Merging strategies

Deployment Pipeline

Bicep/YAML

To Summarise

You will be looking at the day-to-day practices of development teams to ensure that they are following coding practices

You will regularly review the skills/expertise of the development teams and work with the line managers to identify any gaps

Ensure that best practices are implemented
