A Software Systems Architect is now needed as part of expansion for my Glasgow based client. You will be working within the development of their range of battery chargers and looking after the Software system architecture, developing software concepts across Microcontroller platforms as well as proof of concept. The company operate on a global scale and are going strength to strength in terms of leading in their industry. The company operate on a hybrid working policy of 3 days on site and 2 from home alongside benefits.

As their Software Systems Architect your role will involve mentoring and guiding junior engineers so any prior experience of this would be great! The company also offer multiple opportunities for growth as they have multiple sites.

Core Skills/Experience include:-

• Embedded C
• Bare Metal Development
• An understanding of control methodologies
• Requirements engineering
• Software Architecture design
• Software test planning
• Documentation
• Realtime controls
• Full product lifecycle
• Any experience/Exposure of mentoring junior engineers would also be advantageous
