.Net Developer - (Remote) - (Outside Of IR35) (Contract)
Location: Remote  Country: UK Rate: £270 (Outside Of IR35)
 

Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for x2 .NET Developers on a 6 months contract.

Job Spec:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new software projects.
  • Design, develop, and implement web applications using .NET frameworks and technologies.
  • Ensure that all software solutions comply with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and guidelines.
  • Write clean, well-structured code that is maintainable and scalable.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and testing phases.
  • Work closely with QA teams to address any defects or performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide feedback and ensure code quality.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in .NET development and GDS standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong understanding of .NET frameworks (ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.).
  • Experience working within the Government Digital Service (GDS) framework is essential.
  • Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with Front End frameworks/libraries (eg, Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Experience with relational databases (eg, SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (eg, Entity Framework).
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
