Business Intelligence Engineer
We're hiring for two BI Engineers to work alongside the technology and marketing teams of a Global Big Four Internet based organisation. You'll be working on the marketing analytics strategy for this technology giant, creating scalable data structures, automated Data visualisation tools and providing the wider business with valuable data insights that will help make decisions around targeted marketing.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will partner with data engineering and software engineering teams to create Business Intelligence solutions at scale. Working with structured/unstructured data sources, developing deep business insights and architect key business metrics for multiple business areas and stakeholders. The role will also involve partnering with scientists, building forward-looking data experimentation, predictive modelling, and machine learning (ML) algorithms
Key Skills:
- AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Analysing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc
- Data visualization with Tableau, Quicksight, or similar
- Datamodelling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and MATLAB
- Using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
- Python to process data for modelling
- Data mining, ETL,
- Using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
This is a contract role with a Hybrid set up, initially 3 days per week in London, (there are two roles, one Hybrid 400-550 and one remote 350-450). This is a 9 month contract working within the entertainment division of a global streaming service and will be working on cutting edge technologies developed by this brand.
