An elite FinTech firm are looking for a Tower Technician/Rigger

Requirements
- Must have a Clean driving license
- Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;.
- Some knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise
- Be prepared to work away from home at times
Key Responsibilities
- Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks, DAB, FM, AM etc
- Perform work on towers and rooftops (working at height - in some cases above 150m AGL) including line and antenna installation, grounding/electrical tasks, microwave path alignments and troubleshooting
- Racking cabinet devices (power stack, indoor radios, Switches, etc) and working with NOC to onboard them
- Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with industry standards, policies and procedures
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing RF (Radio frequency) systems and networks following agreed instructions
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken
- Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements
- Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics
