Network Support Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Onsite

Daily Rate: Competitive on application

My client is looking for Network Support Engineers for an initial 6-month contract for a long term Network Refresh Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong support experience for network infrastructure
  • Perform fault finding and advanced troubleshooting to resolve network issues promptly
  • Handle tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of network-related issues
  • Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Diagnose network problems and implement effective solutions to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in network support, fault finding, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Routing and Switching technologies
  • Experience with Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Cisco DNA Centre (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Excellent ticket-handling skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and techniques
  • Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
