Opportunity:

We are on the hunt for a Cyber Security Architect with a specialisation in Qualys, who will play a critical role in advising and guiding our technology teams to ensure the security of systems in alignment with our security architecture requirements. This encompasses a wide array of areas including Compute, Storage, Network, Cloud, Applications, Tools, and EUC. Your expertise in threat modelling, code review, and design review will be instrumental in championing security throughout the organisation, empowering teams to enhance the security of their systems. A significant part of this role involves integrating security into each service, collaborating closely with the CISO, Security Architecture, and Project Teams, with a particular focus on Vulnerability & Threat Management Security Tooling using Qualys.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage project aspects related to vulnerability management and Qualys architecture.

- Serve as a technological security representative, assisting engineering teams in adhering to secure design principles.

- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver secure solutions, leveraging your security skills and agile approach.

- Provide hands-on direction during the design and development phases of applications, employing a threat-based approach to support business strategy.

- Execute threat modelling activities and lead incident responses for technology security-related issues.

- Drive the adoption of new tools and techniques, understanding their value and impact.

- Ensure comprehensive project documentation and controls, including change control and document management.

What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience as a senior technical expert in vulnerability and threat management.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of Qualys.

- Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft).

- Experience with security tools and processes.

- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

- Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to lead by example.

- Strong customer focus and attention to detail.

- Ability to build productive, professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Location:

London ( Remote with some in-person work in London two days a week )

Contract:

12 months, Inside IR35. Rate £700-800 pd depending on skills and experience. A higher rate will be considered provided very strong Qualys skills. When applying please ensure your experience with Qualys is well documented in your CV.
