Azure Security Cloud Specialist (Contract)
Location: Cheshire Country: UK Rate: £600 - £650 per day + Inside IR35
Gibbs Hybrid are looking for a senior Azure Security Cloud Specialist with strong and recent cyber & security experience. Due to the nature of the contract, the client has specified that only CV's with recent experience with top tier, UK financial services experience will be considered.
Day rate: £600-£650 per day inside
Location: Cheshire or Glasgow (based on your location) 2 days per week
Duration: 2 days per week onsite is mandatory
Role Overview:
Seeking a strong and influential Azure Security Cloud Specialist with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity, with the capability to lead and influence technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
A strong understanding of endpoint technology, such as MIP, AIP, or Defender is imperative to be considered
Cybersecurity Leadership:
1. Demonstrate a strong cybersecurity and domain lead mindset, effectively integrating security measures across cloud services.
2. Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks within Azure and VDI environments.
Technical Expertise:
* Provide expert knowledge in Azure Cloud and VDI technologies.
* Influence and guide strategic technology decisions, ensuring they align with security best practices.
Liaison Role:
* Act as the primary liaison between the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Global Technology (GTIS), fostering effective security partnerships.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration to integrate security seamlessly into all services.
Product and Service Evaluation:
1. Lead the evaluation of new products and services, ensuring they meet security standards and organizational needs.
2. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance workplace collaboration tools and services.
Mandatory Skills:
* Strong domain security knowledge in workplace collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Citrix, MS Windows, and Office 365.
* Extensive experience in Azure Cloud and VDI environments.
Attributes:

* Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
* Resilient and assertive, able to lead and drive security initiatives effectively.
