Field Service Engineer - Dublin (Permanent)

Location: Dublin Airport Country: Ireland Rate: EUR50k per annum + 20% shift allowance
 

I am on the lookout for an experience Field Service Engineer to join my Dublin based client on a permanent basis. My client is leading the way in global security innovation and is the go-to provider for security solutions in over 120 countries so this is a really exciting opportunity for an individual looking for a long-term career opportunity in the sector.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of complex X-ray and CT-based security systems at airports. From installation to maintenance and repair, you'll deliver top-notch technical support, upholding my clients commitment to service excellence.

You will be:

Providing on-site technical support for airport security systems.

Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing a variety of security equipment.

Conducting maintenance, calibration, and radiation surveys.

Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

My client will put you through a comprehensive training programme to get you up to speed when you start with them, but to excel in this role you will need the following:

  • Solid field service experience in integrated systems technologies.
  • Proficiency in maintaining electromechanical systems and High-Voltage Equipment.
  • Strong customer skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a knack for independent work and adaptability to shift environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with flexible shift availability.
  • Physically capable of lifting

This role operates on a 24/7 basis and therefore you will work on a 6-week rotating shift pattern.
