Technical Program Manager - (SAP HR&PY ECC, H4S4 or migrations to S4 HR and PY experience) - Amsterdam

This is a Amsterdam based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Global, company-wide platform services at enterprise large scales SAP HR&PY ECC, H4S4 or migrations to S4 HR and PY experience.

Technical Program Managers must have demonstrated experience leading large cross-organizational software development projects, and have a deep technical background in. They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means not only being able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and help drive change. Knowledge of the following is required agile project management, release schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with project sponsors and stakeholders to define and deliver projects
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance business needs with technical constraints
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders
  • Communicate project issues and status concisely and accurately
  • Apply best practices to SDLC, coordinating implementations across teams
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules considering dependencies and constraints
  • Manage critical People Systems projects, ensuring scalability and security
  • Prepare kickoff and documentation for SteerCo and LT meetings
  • Define project scoping and success metrics based on data analysis
  • Own project plan, monitor resources, and manage allocation
  • Understand and track technical requirements and dependencies
  • Control deployment strategy in collaboration with Digital Adoption and Change Management team
  • Contribute to change management plan, including communication and training
  • Maintain traceability of test cases with requirements
  • Oversee test planning, management, and quality assurance
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and support Assurance tests after Implementation
  • Define cutover strategy and ensure alignment of requirements with solution
  • Handle Go/No-Go meetings and monitor quality gates
  • Update project documentation and document lessons learned
  • Formalize project closure and transition to Business As Usual (BAU)
  • Support team members in escalations and firefighting tasks

Requirements;

  • Level of Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Requirements of Special Knowledge/Skills:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Data-driven and results-oriented mindset
    • Experience with People Technology deployments
    • Proven track record of leading visionary strategies for global, company-wide platform services at enterprise scales
    • Experience with SAP HR & PY ECC, H4S4, or migrations to S4 HR and PY
  • Years of Relevant Job Knowledge: 3-5 years of broad job knowledge, including technical program management experience
