This is a Amsterdam based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Under general supervision, the Information Systems Security Specialist is responsible for performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of Information Systems Assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. This role involves implementing and maintaining security measures, analysing potential security risks, and responding to security incidents as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute investigative analysis and incident response.
• Identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Network, software and hardware systems security
• Resilience and incident management
• Nist and ISO control experience
• Perform deep cause analysis of security issues.
• Develop IT security standards and policies.
• Advise stakeholders on problem-solving.
• Ensure SOC objectives are met.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Skills Requirements:

• Specialized diploma in health & safety, physical security, and crisis management/business resilience.
• Deep knowledge in one job area or broad knowledge in several job areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
• Solution-oriented and result-driven.
• Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently or in a team.
• Good communication skills, including public speaking.

• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools for complex incident analysis.
