Release Engineer (Contract/Full Time)

Location: Dallas, Texas Country: United States of America Rate: $50/hr. - $60/hr
 

Position: Release Engineer

Duration: Contract to hire

Location: Dallas, TX (must be able to interview in person)

Years of experience: 1-3

Description: We are looking for a junior release engineering who will make sure our projects are successfully deployed. Must be ready to learn quickly! You will work with the application side of the business as well as the infrastructure side with DevOps. You will be developing pipelines for automation and release code deployment in Azure. Supports and designs the continuous integration and delivery pipeline applications, leads daily standups, organizes and leads Scrum like ceremonies, various Scripting and automation tasks relative to service delivery, and/or platforms support.

Job Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience as a build/release engineer
  • Must have experience with Agile methodology and Sprints, as well as SDLC
  • Experience adding user stories from projects to the Visual Studio Team Services ( VSTS )
  • Experience managing User Stories and manage the processes
  • Must be able to lead 15 minutes stand-up meetings
  • Help to prioritize the work and the allocation of resources
  • Experience with Azure dashboards for work allocation
  • Must have experience with SDLC, Azure concepts, Azure query languages and project iteration tracking
  • Experience building pipelines for release management
  • Must understand the release process
