Senior Analyst, Master Data (Full Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Master Data for our site located in Wilmington, MA.

The Senior Analyst, Master Data is responsible for developing and maintaining master data within various systems including SAP and MDM. This role will support the data conversion efforts associated with system deployments and acquisition integration activities. They will work closely with the business owners and consumers to ensure processes are followed and data integrity is maintained. They will support compliance with master data management standards, processes and governance.

• Create and manage Master Data elements (Customer, Materials/products, Vendor, etc. including hierarchies) across MDM and ERP Systems.
• Maintain global master data across all sites and businesses in partnership with operational data owners.
• Ensure data completeness, integrity and accuracy, including providing quality assurance over data entered by others.
• Develop and/or update, deploy, and align Master Data standards across geographies and business areas.
• Assist with updating Business Processes/SOPs to align with changes in master data standards.
• Provide the training and support to all colleagues in creating and understanding use of data within ERP and operational systems; identify impacted users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assigned Service Desk incidents in a timely fashion related to data issues; update tickets accordingly.
• Adhere to internal procedures and controls as required by Sarbanes Oxley.
• Maintain an understanding of source data and appropriate data ownership, governance and stewardship.
• Serve as a tester for MDM system changes/enhancements.

Activities
• Meet with your team members on a regular basis to build relationships, seek feedback and develop your team competencies
• Seek feedback from the consumers of the MDM Change Services

The following are minimum requirements related to the Senior Analyst, Master Data position.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in business, computer science or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of six to eight years of Master Data Management experience required. Experience in regulatory compliance preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
  • Certification/Licensure: None.
  • Other: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to work independently and deliver with tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication required and ability work with all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills. SharePoint experience preferred. Possess excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated experience with MS Excel including use of functions for data comparison and conversion.
