Business Development Executive (remote) (Full Time)

Location: Remote All States United States Of America Country: United States of America Rate: $225k

Company is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) to sell Managed Services solutions to mid and upper mid-market organizations with an open, national territory. The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving new business to achieve assigned quota targets. Working with clients in a consultative selling capacity, the BDE defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business leveraging the company's services portfolio. This is a collaborative position where the BDE will work with other teams and managers to identify ways to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue growth for the company. Position can be worked remote.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience selling monthly recurring revenue Managed Services solutions
  • Services sales experience should include any one or combinations of the following areas:
  • Infrastructure management and monitoring including network, server, storage, managed hosting, backup and disaster recovery. public and private cloud solutions
  • Cybersecurity solutions - their application and general familiarity with compliance and regulatory imperatives as they relate to a company's security posture, solutions focused on monitoring, detection and incident response
  • Application development and management for Salesforce, SharePoint or .NET platforms
  • Data management encompassing DBA services, performance monitoring, analytics and BI solutions
    • C level engagement and solution selling
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding quotas
    • Experience developing and working with third-party partners for mutually beneficial relationships to drive more client-engagement opportunities

Your day-to-day as a Business Development Executive:

  • Prospect for potential new clients to achieve quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Build relationships with prospective clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify and work with and the decision makers in organizations to build long-term strategic relationships
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and the company's practice leaders to properly align service solutions to address business imperatives
  • Work with senior level management, marketing, and technical teams to develop proposals that speak to client's needs, concerns and objectives

  • Collaboration & Understanding - You have a team-driven sales engagement style and can take a deep dive into a client's business operations to develop customized solutions
  • Communication - You are articulate, have strong presentation skills, and can distill and explain technical information to an unversed audience
