Apprentice Intern (Full Time)

Product Engineering Intern

Job Description:

Support Engineering development projects through use of CAD, Finite Element Analysis, calculations, and testing.

Design and execute material tests to characterize mechanical properties of materials.

Perform basic calculations and statistical analysis to validate test results.

Utilize Finite Element Analysis to develop material models based on test data.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Must possess, or be in active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Understanding of Fatigue Mechanisms of Metals is desirable.

Basic proficiency in the use of NX or similar CAD software with emphasis to 3D modelling.

Basic proficiency in structural analysis with ANSYS or similar FEA software.

Should be competent in basic usage of common Microsoft Office applications, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
