Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.Duties: Study, analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain JAVA/J2EE, enterprise application software.
Design and develop computer systems in Agile and Waterfall methodology using service-oriented architecture. Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with multiple Technology teams. Develop full-stack Java applications using Spring, Java scripts, Websphere, Mybatis, TIBCO, and Oracle.
Evaluate different solutions, frameworks and technologies and implement the most suitable one as per business requirement. Analyze and debug application performance issues and perform periodic software upgrades. Lead development teams to effectively design, architect and plan the delivery of the proposed scope.
Serve as advisor or mentor to entry and mid-level developers to develop highly resilient and future-proof solutions. Demonstrate technical influence over different teams, either via a collaborative software effort or by increasing their productivity and effectiveness by driving software engineering best practices. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Mathematics, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst, Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, Programmer Analyst, or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Developing full life-cycle object-oriented software, including analyzing and designing application specifications and documentation of software user requirements; Participating in software architecture, requirement gathering, coding, testing and creation of functional specs of a JAVA/J2EE enterprise application; Application development and enhancement using Java Languages, XML, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Spring, Mybatis, Hibernate, JPA, Java Scripts, CSS, Web Services, SOA, and WebSphere or Tomcat application servers with ORACLE as database in Windows/UNIX systems; Service Architecture development using REST and SOAP with performance tuning in both Agile and Waterfall methodology; Designing and developing scalable and low latency distributed Java web applications to track the status and progress of the events coming through JMS APIs like TIBCO or Kafka; Performing code/design reviews and ensuring overall quality and timely delivery of project milestones while leading a team of developers; Suggesting architectural improvements, design and integration solutions, and formulating methodologies to optimize object-oriented software and database development of existing enterprise systems; and Analyzing performance issues and managing maintenance of existing applications along with timely software upgrades. 40 hrs./wk.
