Job Description
: Our client in the energy space is seeking a full time Billing Analyst on a temp-to-hire basis. Analyze and monitor data received from utilities to generate accurate regular and complex billings.

Deliver invoices timely to customers. Work and communicate with our customers through email and phone calls, as well as internal and external client follow-up. Analyzes incoming contracts and verifies client billing requirements.

Identifies, tracks, and solves billing issues and addresses root cause problems including communicating with utilities and external clients. Identifies problems, anomalies, and trends by monitoring and analyzing customer usage and coming to conclusions regarding this information. Provides accounting and billing support through the creation of reports and management of the billing service provided to clients.

Utilizes SQL and Excel to perform ad-hoc analysis and maintain database queries that report on billing data. Develops special projects to automate and optimize current processes. Qualifications: Qualifications: You have a bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (or related field) You will have a minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on, work experience as a Billing, Data, Financial, or Business Analyst or have held similar titles Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, file comparisons, Vlookup) An analytical thinker, who can process information logically.
